STANDARD TERMS & CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

1. By submitting an entry, you agree to be bound by these rules and to all other terms and conditions on the online platform through which you have entered this CNN Scene by Scene: Shoot Send Share promotion (Promotion).
2. Submission of entries to the Promotion is open to residents of Australia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand who are above 18 years of age on the Start Date. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, its related companies, advertising agencies and affiliates may not submit entries to the Promotion. No fees or charges are necessary.
3. Entrants may enter the Promotion as many times as they wish, provided that each entry is separately submitted.
4. Entry to the Promotion commences on the Start Date and closes when the last entry is received on the Closing Date. By entering the Promotion, entrants accept these Standard Terms & Conditions of Entry.
5. The best entries will be chosen on or before 7 September 2009. The judges' decision will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about the Promotion or the judges' decision(s).
6. By submitting entries to this Promotion, Entrants grant Promoter the perpetual, worldwide right for the purposes of exhibiting, publicizing and promoting such entries. All entries and all copyright & other rights in such entries become the property of the Promoter upon submission. No part of any entry will be returned to an entrant.
7. If applicable, and subject to the signing of Release forms by creators of the best entries. Creators agree that Promoter may elect (in its sole discretion) to incorporate in its CNN Scene by Scene marketing campaign the relevant entry submission.
8. Promoter shall be under no obligation to actually use the entries or the creator’s name and/or biographical information in or in connection with the CNN Scene by Scene marketing campaign or any other promotion.
9. You represent and warrant that:
   (a) you are over 18 years of age;
   (b) your video and all material appearing in it will not infringe any rights of any third party as it is either original from you and/or you have obtained permission from all relevant third parties to use all material, including without limitation video footage, photographs and music, that are contained in your video; and
   (c) you have permissions from all individuals featured in your video (if any) and can provide evidence of such permissions to the Promoter if requested. You hereby waive all moral rights you may have in respect of your video and have ensured that all individuals contributing to and/or performing in your video have waived their moral rights. You indemnify the Promoter against any and all claims brought by third parties in respect of the Promoter’s use of your video. You acknowledge that no payment shall be owed by the Promoter or any third party in respect of use of your video and that the Promoter is not obliged to use videos submitted to it.
10. By submitting an entry to the Promotion (unless otherwise advised by the entrant), each entrant consents to the information that the entrant submitted with their entry (including their personal information) being entered into a database and to the use by the Promoter or its affiliates of this information in any media in accordance with the Promoter’s online privacy policy (located at http://edition.cnn.com) without any further reference or payment or other compensation to the entrant. All personal information of the entrants will be stored at the Promoter's Office. A request to access, update or correct any personal information should be directed to the Promoter’s Office in accordance with the Promoter’s online privacy policy. The database information or any part of it may be provided to the Promoter’s affiliates in Hong Kong, the United Kingdom or the United States of America.
11. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of, entries.
